Cleaning Your Bathroom

Supplies
Broom, toilet paper, spray bottle of all purpose bathroom cleaner, clean rags, newspaper, spray bottle of vinegar, box of baking soda, toilet brush, bucket, mop, antibacterial spray bottle

Recipe for all purpose bathroom cleaner: mix equal parts of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Add a couple teaspoons of salt to bottle.

Recipe for antibacterial spray: Mix 1 tablespoon of bleach into a spray bottle of water.
Ceiling
Using the broom, clean out corners, light fixture and ceiling fan.
You may spray all purpose cleaner on a rag and wrap around the broom and then swipe dusty fan.
Spritz all purpose cleaner on a rag and wipe off the top of the medicine cabinet.
Walls
Use cleaner and rags to wipe walls, towel racks, toilet paper holders, pictures and anything on the walls.
Mirrors and Windows
Use spray bottle of vinegar and newspaper to clean mirrors and windows.
The first time you use this cleaner on your windows you may notice streaks. This is because there is a build-up of commercial cleaner on your mirror. Rub a bar of soap on the mirror first and then clean with the vinegar.

To prevent your bathroom mirrors from fogging up, just before you get into the shower, coat your mirror with a non-gel toothpaste and then wipe it off.
Shower and Tub
Before you clean anything, wipe down tub and shower walls with toilet paper.This is an easy way to clean up the hair before it gets wet.

To eliminate mildew, spray with undiluted vinegar and wipe.
Sink
Wipe down sink with toilet paper first to pick up hair.

Faucets are susceptible to mineral deposits.
Put lemon juice on a clean cloth. Lay the cloth on the faucet for a few hours and then rinse.
Toilet
Sprinkle the sides of the toilet bowl with baking soda and let it sit for a few minutes. Spray with vinegar, then scrub with toilet brush and flush.
Floor
Floor cleaner and great ant deterrent: fill bucket with equal parts of vinegar and water. Add salt.
For a quick cleanup, use your spray bottle and then wipe.

Fixtures
Do not forget the light switches, door knobs, outlets and cabinet doors and knobs. Any place dirty hands touch.

Air
Spray all surfaces with disinfectant when you are done cleaning.
Other
Clean brushes and combs with baking soda and water.
